Hi, I’m James, Operations Director at Recruit Therapists.My role sits very much behind the scenes, making sure the business runs smoothly, sustainably and with the right foundations in place. I’ve spent many years working in recruitment and healthcare recruitment specifically, building and scaling businesses with a focus on strong processes, commercial clarity and long-term relationships.
I’m naturally drawn to structure and strategy. I like things to be well thought through, properly planned and set up to last. That means everything from operational systems and processes, to supporting the wider team so they can do what they do best without unnecessary friction or chaos.
At Recruit Therapists, I work closely with Laura and Billie to make sure the business grows in the right way. Laura brings the energy and the relationships, Billie keeps everything organised and running like clockwork, and I focus on making sure the operational and commercial side of the business supports that properly. Different strengths, same end goal. I’ve worked across healthcare and occupational health recruitment for much of my career, supporting both clients and candidates nationally. What matters most to me is doing things properly, building trust, and creating something sustainable rather than chasing short-term wins.
Outside of work, I’m someone who enjoys a good plan, a well-organised diary and time spent switching off when I can.
I’m not the loudest in the room, but I’m usually the one making sure everything adds up. Focused on building something that lasts.
