Specialists in Active Recovery
Medicine is changing. The focus has shifted from passive treatment on a plinth to active rehabilitation on the gym floor. This is where the Sports Rehabilitator (SR) excels.
While many clinicians can diagnose an injury, a Sports Rehabilitator is the expert in programming the journey from “pain-free” to “performance ready.” They understand load management, strength and conditioning principles, and the biomechanics of movement.
As a specialist recruitment partner, we champion the specific skillset of the BASRaT registered rehabilitator. We help private clinics and organisations understand exactly how a SR fits into a multidisciplinary team, often acting as the vital link between the physiotherapist and the strength coach.

Common questions about our Sports Rehab Recruitment
What is the difference between a Sports Rehabilitator and a Physiotherapist?
While there is significant overlap, Sports Rehabilitators have a much deeper focus on exercise prescription, biomechanics, and strength and conditioning during their degree. They are often better suited to late-stage rehab and field-based recovery than generalist physios.
Can a SR work in a private clinic?
Absolutely. They are increasingly popular in private practice. Hiring a SR allows a clinic to offer a comprehensive “end-to-end” service, keeping the patient in-house from acute injury right through to return-to-sport testing
